A game jam project done in 4 days!

Everyone designed the game as a team, but here's some other roles people took on.

In this classic arcade styled shoot-em-up, players compete to survive the longest and get the highest score! Collect powerups (but avoid the negative powerups) to aid you in surviving the endless onslaught!

(unfortunately there's no exit from within the game, you'll have to hit alt+f4 or something to close it)

Hm, doesn't the fact that I can insert coins without limit make the whole high-score-aspect of the game obsolete?

I played it single-player, it's okay and fun for a few minutes. It falls flat pretty quickly due to the very limited gameplay core. Also, for the most powerups, I have no idea what they do.

I love your clour palette and the music and sound!

This was a quick 'port' as we designed this game for an arcade machine. The idea was that players could keep spending money to keep playing. (yes that makes it pay-to-win, a quick design decision to save time and fit the game jam's theme)

The limited gameplay core is something we noticed through playtesting near the end of the game jam, unfortunately we didn't have time to implement many changes to fix that.

Thanks for the input on the icons, they were something we were iterating on all week, and it's always good to hear more feedback!
